Visual manipulation is my career and something I've invested thousands of hours into mastering so I can support my clients in looking a certain way to their target audience. Before you judge this as wrong, think about it as getting dolled up for a first date. I help my clients make the best first impression possible - and look attractive to who they are trying to connect with. It is something we all do.

In the 2024 election season I started noticing the same techniques I use for my clients used in the news. There was blatant manipulation and when I started pointing it out to friends and family it was a new and foreign idea. We all had been trusting the news, but the news was manipulating us.

I believe in the individual's right to choose for themselves how to interpret information. When you are unaware of these techniques influencing you, you begin with a bias perspective.
